Unhappy Can't mount my SD Card - Sony Touch - Linux

****SOLVED****

Hi,

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the Sony section or here, but I figured that this was probably more suitable to *nix questions. Apologies if not.

Just got myself a brand new 16G SD card for my PRS-600, formatted it using the reader itself, and plugged the reader into my linux box... but now i can't mount the card.

I'm running a pretty minimal Gentoo system (fluxbox) so no automagical mounting of drives courtesy of desktop managers. I've had no problem creating a fstab entry for the reader, just not the card. Have tried to mount /dev/sdd from the command line using auto, xfat, ext2, ext3, all to no avail. Output:

Code:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdd,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
Here's the chunk of dmesg that is relevant:

Code:

Sorry,
A bit more info. Forgot about fdisk!

Code:
Disk /dev/sdd: 15.9 GB, 15931539456 bytes
1 heads, 32 sectors/track, 972384 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 32 * 512 = 16384 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000000

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdd1 257 972384 15554048 c W95 FAT32 (LBA)
Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.
Confirming that it is in fact formatted to fat.

Haha,
I suddenly realised my problem! Needed to mount /dev/sdd1. Being particularly smart today it would seem!
