Tried Everything...Cannot Send to Kindle

I have tried sending books to my kindle
Tried 2 different kindles
Tried 3 different emails (gmail, gmx, hotmail)
all added on kindle account management as accepted emails
Made sure SMPT was enabled (gmx)

I believe the error is coming from within calibre somehow... it used to work for me way back and actually back then it was me sending from my simple gmail account too..that does not work anymore...

here is the error code on the last Test Email results (Preferences --> Test Email)

According to that your username password are nt being accepted by the gmx server. Make sure you have logged into gmx using a browser and told it allow SMTP sending and that you are using your full gmx email as the username.

Maybe i find your solution (works 4 me)
In the "POP3 & IMAP" settings in GMX, i just check the "Send and receive emails via external program (Outlook, Thunderbird)" box.
And it works now

I got same problem with op,
and found out GMX deletes account which is not used for a while.and also,restricts same IP resister to obtain GMX address.(tried to get same mail address,address itself was not taken,but couldn't resister.)

I ended up using one of my gmail address,by setting "less secure".
