This novel is a revision of "The Nine Bears", with significant changes to the beginning (deleting a lot of slow buildup).

A group of financial conspirators known as the Nine Bears wreak financial havoc for their own gain, and then disappear to a mysterious rendezvous known as "lolo".

Scotland Yard detective T B Smith and even the navies of several wrathful countries are now on the trail of Silinski, leader of the Nine Bears. But who, what, or where is "lolo"?
