the ability to transfer books between different librarys

i would like the ability to transfer books between different librarys and asked for an enhancement to allow this. the ticket was immediately closed and marked as fixed. but i have been unable to figure out how to do this. i've tried adding a file with the add feature directly from another library but the metadata gets changed. give me a hint please.

also, how do you delete a library? i deleted one with windows and it still shows up in the window. but if you choose it, nothing happens (thought this action might just delete the entry).

i created a library.
i moved the library to another loaction.
but,
the library did not move,
instead it copied.
so,
how do i delete the original new library?
