How could anyone in possession of a moiety of their mind not prefer the book to the radio program?

Isn't the book based on the original radio program? Thus, isn't the Radio Program the true source of the wonder that is The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy?

Can I write a question and then continue with statements?

The first radio episodes in 1978-1980 which were the basis for the first two Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books were created and realized by Douglas Adams. There are quite a few differences between the radio episodes and the books. The remaining radio episodes were based on the later books in the series and were created and broadcast after Douglas Adams' had passed.

Could the good old days be considered the good old days because things are less advanced back then? Could it be the result of longing for a simpler time? Could this be the reason for the return of vinyl, where listening to music is very simple compared to other ways of listening to music?

Should I look up the definition of a pun so I can determine what a stupid pun is? Does a pun consist of more than just substituting syllables with "pun" in words? What if, after finding out what a pun actually is, I decide to write the most painful puns in existence, ones so painful that they will make people long for vogon poetry?
