Location Saving Kindle for iPad

My Kindle App on my iPad no longer saves the location locally of books I am reading. If I am reading a book purchased from Amazon, it works. But If I am reading a book that was an EPUB and then I converted it to MOBI, using Calibre, it doesn't save the location. I can take the same MOBI file to a Kindle for Android and it works fine. This function used to work in the iPad until a few weeks ago.

Any ideas?

Same here...using the most current Kindle version, side loaded books aren't keeping my place, books from Amazon are.

Version 6.30.1, iPad Pro running 13.4.1

Remove Kindle app from task switcher, that may clear it up (It forces additional initialization on launch).

Another thing to try is the Sync option in Settings. It may take a few minutes.

I’m not having any problems with latest version.

Amazon claims to have fixed this problem in version 6.30.2 just released.
