Somehow it's not working. Added CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR to my /ect/enviroment file and eloaded it, and echo $CALIBRE_TEMP_DIR gives the right folder I intend to use, but starting calibre, the server and then testing to see what happens, and calibre seems to still be using /tmp for the server

5. Workaround for bug on Chrome on Android that made typing in the viewer preferences impossible

8. Cover grid: Auto-resizing of covers based on window size now takes window aspect ratio into account
9. Make the covers on the home page take up no more than 40% of window height
10. Fix list of library buttons not wrapping
11. Fix rendering of short month names incorrect on Chrome

The only remaining bugs from those reported so far are the ones by DivingDuck about per-user library restrictions, I still have to look into those.

If I missed a bug you reported, please repost it, as there were a lot of posts yesterday and I could have overlooked something.

I had tested with 2.99. I've tested now with 2.99.3. I don't know if there was some side effect or it was something strange at that moment, but it works now.

TEMPLATE ERROR Formatter: unknown function obt_reaf near obt_reaf... But books 50 and 51 have the same template... and it works in 2.84.

I ran ./calibre-debug -g

I ran a server, went to Firefox and connected to localhost:8080
Got Calibre UI
clicked on button "Browse all previously downloaded books…"
(obviuously, I have no previously downloaded books, because both books I saw on Calibre mani screen never downloaded - see previous bug report from Mint Linux PC)

I have added two new books from Mobileread to my Calibre database. I wanted to access them from the Firefox for debugging purposes.

I have started the server, returned to Firefox and opened localhost:8080. I clicked on Library and selected sorting by date. Clicked on first book, clicked Read Book and now I am looking at the spinner with text: "Loading titlepage.html from Rip Van Winkle, please wait...". Had to abort.
I have clicked on the next book, book downloaded and now I am looking at the empty screen.

Both books - mobi and epub - display OK in Chrome.

What can I do in Firefox to help you diagnose this issue?
