Thumbs down Linux Mint, Calibre and NOOKHD

I'm very new to Linux Mint so be gentle please. Calibre is not recognizing my NookHD in Mint. It was easy in Windows but I need help here. Getting the debug message:

libmtp is unable to find your mtp devices, most likely because you dont have the correct udev rules for them. You will need to ask on a mint forum for help with that.
