Epidemic of the Living Dead by John Russo is $1.99 at Amazon US.
Russo cowrote Night of the Living Dead with George Romero and has sort of been dining out on it ever since. When they split Russo got to keep the 'Living Dead' tag which is why Romero's sequels were just 'of the Dead' while the books and movies Russo's involved with are 'of the Living Dead'. Reviews on this book are mixed at best. But I picked it up. Quote:

The Deep by Alma Katsu is $2.99 on Amazon.com
Note that the horror content is minor. It's more of a supernatural tale. Quote:

I grabbed the Deep, too! I love ocean themed settings with these types of books, and have been enjoying The Hunger.

You're welcome. I've always been interested in sword & sorcery the likes of Michael Moorcock, Fritz Leiber, John Jakes, Robert E. Howard, Henry Kuttner, and et al. (I'm sure I've left off some names that currently escape me.) I didn't see Issue #1. Did you? |

The Priest of Blood (The Vampyricon Book 1) by Douglas Clegg is FREE at Amazon US. (Not a Smile link for once.)
This is the first book in Doug's vampire fantasy trilogy. It never sounded like my kind of thing, but for free... Quote:
