Kobo-Error communicating with device
When I connect my Kobo Aura, Calibre show this error message.
"calibre, version 3.39.1 ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device CorruptError: database disk image is malformed Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 87, in run File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 510, in _books File "site-packages\calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 1926, in books File "c:\t\t\apsw-0ea1mm\apsw-3.26.0-r1\src\cursor.c", line 236, in resetcursor CorruptError: CorruptError: database disk image is malformed" But it can connected with my aura and doesn't show any book on the device, and it can eject the device.I signed out then signed in, it doesn't work. I'll appreciate for your help. |

The devices database (what you see when choosing what to read) is damaged. You need to signout on your device, the log back in.
You may/will lose your reading status, but the DB will be rebuilt. |

As @theducks said, that error indicates the database is corrupt. The usual solution I recommend is to sign out. The database is created from scratch during the setup process.
If calibre still has problems accessing the database, it suggests more problems. Can Windows access the device properly when it is connected? Does it show any errors? Can you write to the device? Did the sign out work and take you through the setup process? Can you try another USB port or cable? If it isn't working, you will probably need to do a factory reset. |

I tried several ways, it didn't working.I think all I can do is factory reset.
