Reverting to before the SD card

I picked up a Likebook Mars used. When I put an SD card in, it moved everything, including, it seems, the operating system files onto the card
For various reasons, I'm having issues with this setup.
How can I go back to using the Mars without the SD card?
If I reset it, will it revert to the earlier version of Android as well?

Never mind. Decided to reset the device and start all over. Working much better now.

One of the few bits of support I got from Boyue was that it was not recommended to let the SD card be integrated with the internal storage of the device. I'd just done it but almost right away reverted to using it as external storage. I remember not being able to see or search the SD card once it was integrated with internal storage. So,maybe a close escape there.

Also with integrated mode on Android the card is encrypted to that device. Best kept separate and then can r/w on PC or swap to a different device.
