I had an ARC of this already and enjoyed it - it's pretty hard science-y, but kind of a fun alternate history kind of thing. Since I worked as a young engineer on various space life support systems, it was a fun read.

My paperback copy of Dune had foil lettering that got worn after use, so after a while, people thought I was reading "Dunf."

I remember from SF Conventions years ago, that authors who participated in the first couple of Thieves World anthologies said they got more royalties from a short story that they did for most of their novels.

Volumes 1-3 of Thieves World WERE on sale (in the UK), but now only Volume 4 is on sale.

A great price if one likes this sort of stuff.
