Hama Variable volt adapter with a Sony 505?
Would it be OK to use a Hama Variable voltage Switched mode power adapter 0.28A @ 5V with my new Sony 505?

0.28A is not very much, it's probably not enough, the Sony chargers have 1.0A. Worst case scenario is your charger overheats and blows a thermal fuse (or burn up if it doesn't have a fuse)
If it does work without breaking the charger it will take a long time to charge the reader (possibly even longer than over USB) |
