Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975) was a popular English comic writer. His books are usually set around pre-war upper-class English society.

This is a collection of 19 humoristic short stories, published in book form in 1914, each with at least a touch of romance at end. A typical sample of the author's style and themes... The stories included are:
