PDF gets renamed "legacygetpdf476calibre_library..."

When I download a pdf I created to the Kobo using the server; it gets named : "legacygetpdf476calibre_librarypdfname"
It is very annoying.
Why does it do that? And how can it be fixed?

Are your referring to the actual file name, or the book title as shown in the library lists?

If it is the file name, then that is the Kobo browser. It uses the URL stripped of slashes as the name of the file. It can use the filename supplied in the Content-Disposition header attribute, but, I don't know how it decides which to use.

If you mean in the book list, the device will attempt to get the title and author from the metadata in the book. If there isn't any metadata, it will revert to using the file name for the title and "Unknown Author" for the author. If this is the case, you might need to embed the metadata in PDFs as the server doesn't seem to be updating the metadata in PDF files when sending them.
