Calibre - Setting 'Custom List' as default interface in server

Hey Folks ..

Let me put it out of the way ..

I am an Academician in the nonprofit sector and I want to use the calibre server for the benefit of my students.

{ They may not know it yet, but they are very grateful for the lot of you for enabling such an environment }

So, I have made a template that seems intuitive for the students to view while browsing through the books.

The thing is, everytime I connect to the server, by default, the 'Book List View' resets to 'Cover Grid' , rather than 'Custom List' ( which is the overview I want the students to view ).

Any tips on this would be much appreciated !
