What is "br line 0 and p" and how do I fix it?

I converted a web-page to epub. It dropped a key page from the source document, so I copied and pasted the html into it. Now I'm getting this error.

Can you paste the full text of the error? Best guess based on the title is you've got a <br /> that's not closed. Line 0 is a little weird for that though.

No. After a series of failed attempts to find and correct the error, I deleted the epub.
