Ticker sounds like just the thing. I love steampunk.

Thanks for the reminder about the free book. I chose "End of Secrets". "Ticker" looked interesting, but I'm so over-and-done with authors trying to straddle the YA-adult market divide by using a 16-year-old protagonist.

I might get Ticker because I see nothing of great interest and I think my daughter might like it.

Awesome! I had Marked on my wishlist (I love Sarah Fine) so of course I jumped in that.

I went with The Last Passenger. That "Nazi cruise-ship time travel" sounded intriguing.

I chose that one also, but without much enthusiasm. I don't like fantasy/paranormal/supernatural elements, which they all seemed to have this time around. Kindle First isn't much of a perk; I don't think I've seen one yet that really appeals to me.

I'll probably go with The Last Passenger, but I'm not that into any of them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't care too much about the topics either. I'm still reading my last two picks to be honest.

I think there's been exactly one that I was really interested in so far. (And it wasn't The Last Passenger.) There's been some months I just skipped it entirely, the selection is kind of crappy.
