Adding multiple images in Calibre Editor

I've got a bucketload of images to add to my ebook, and I'm hating the idea of manually adding each individually...

Is there a way to bulk add images in the editor? Happy to insert each of them into the book individually, but the upload/import process - one by one - is going to be like pulling teeth...

Thanks!

File->Import files into book allows you to select multiple files

Or you carete the multiple <img> tags with src pointing to the url to download theimage, then use tools->external links->download external resources

I thought I'd experiment with drag/drop with the editor to see if there's something under the hood that I missed for adding files

Dragging an picture file from Windows Explorer to the File Browser or Preview windows does not do anything

However, dragging a file to the editing area does add the file name as text where ever it was 'dropped' and it looks like file:\\\c:\users\....., i.e. just the path name.

Not a major issue, just unexpected. It would be cool to be able to draw images, etc. and drop them in the editing window and have them added to the manifest and tagged
