DRM issues on MaxLumi

I recently got a MaxLumi, which is replacing my Max2 as my main reading device. I've noticed that a few epubs that worked on the Max2 without issue are not loading on the MaxLumi. I get this error message: "This document may be DRM encrypted and cannot be supported." Most epubs are working fine, but I've gotten this message for 3 different files.

I'm wondering whether the issue is really DRM, for 2 reasons: 1) the files work without issue on the Max2, and 2) the error message say it "may" be DRM encrypted.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a workaround for it?

It shouldn't be DRM issue if they work on the other device. First try to update your firmware. If there's no update, report via Settings -> Feedback to onyx. They should send you beta update once it's fixed

Thanks! I haven't updated firmware yet, so that'll be my first step.

The firmware update fixed the issue, all my epubs are loading now. Thanks again.
