If you have had a kindle before Amazon saves the WiFi password so you don’t need to keep inputting it. You can turn this off in settings and force Amazon to delete your WiFi password.

Books aren't square with rare exceptions but more importantly the Oasis is just a little bit too wide to fit in my jacket pocket while the slightly more rectangular PW easily goes into a jacket pocket. A much more useful and user friendly shape.

I think I will send my Paperwhite 5 SE back soon, I think it’s a good reader but it’s screen falls short for me. It’s supposed to be the same as the Libra2 and Sage but its sharpness / contrast feels like the previous generation.
I’m finding myself enjoying the Kobo Sage way more than expected.
It’s the first time I’m considering exporting my close to 700 books bought on Amazon to Calibre in order to switch. (If people who’s done that have any tips or advice, because I’m feeling overwhelmed by the task)

Convert them all to ePub. Install the Kobo plugins and set up Bookshelves on Calibre for each book/genre etc. Then when you send them all to your Kobo Calibre will add the Bookshelves as Collections.

agreed square physical books are definitely in the minority. the squarish e-readers like the Kindle Oasis actually have an rectangular E Ink screen. but. sadly for my preference an overall squarish shape.

User friendly for you, you mean. I don't take my ereaders out of the house, so their pocketability doesn't matter to me. The square shape is much more comfortable to hold. For me personally, of course.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. But otherwise the Sage is a very fine reader and I also enjoy mine a lot.

I do intend to get the charging cover for it, though.
