Question Lock device? (Inkpad Color)

I have the new Inkpad Color and have been trying to lock the device from the prying eyes of children, but there doesn't seem to be any such option? I'm I right? It seems very surprising given that the device is network connected and has a browser, with which a kid can do all sorts of things. Plus the book library is open for all to mess with...

It doesn't look like it. This is something I never checked into before. You can lock your Settings with a password, however(?)

Yes. But that doesn't help keeping the kids away from my book collection.
I can't believe that it's 2022 and there's a digital connected device without any use protection.
