No Problem. Only took a few minutes to redo it. I certainly won't complain about that when your work makes my kindle worth what I paid for it. Just wondered about it.

Thanks again!

This is what I am getting on the terminal when 0.6.18 did not open. ANyone with any ideas? I keep my library of book files on an external drive. Wasn't an issue in Leopard but every build for SnowLeopard has given me much the same problem.

All help gratefully received. rgds, njw

Run calibre from a terminal as

calibre --with-library ~/path/to/some/directory

I tried something - deleting the calibre preferences from my user library and reinstalling. It worked.

Thank you for all your efforts. I'm so pleased to be back up and running.

Hello -- trying to start 0.6.20 on SL, installed fine, but on start the app crashes without loading the GUI and I get the following, as recorded in the Console Log:

[0x0-0x88a88a].net.kovidgoyal.calibre[32745] Usage: main.py [opts] [path_to_ebook]
[0x0-0x88a88a].net.kovidgoyal.calibre[32745] Launch the main calibre Graphical User Interface and optionally add the ebook at
[0x0-0x88a88a].net.kovidgoyal.calibre[32745] path_to_ebook to the database.
[0x0-0x88a88a].net.kovidgoyal.calibre[32745] Whenever you pass arguments to main.py that have spaces in them, enclose the arguments in quotation marks.
[0x0-0x88a88a].net.kovidgoyal.calibre[32745] main.py: error: no such option: -p
com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[116] ([0x0-0x88a88a].net.kovidgoyal.calibre[32745]) Exited with exit code: 2

Any thoughts?
