Issues with latest 3M Cloud Library update
Anybody else install version 2.1.24 of the 3M Cloud Library app that came out yesterday? Is it normal for you?
I updated on my iPhone 5S. It made the text unreadable! It's blurry and low-resolution. Simply awful! I see people are starting to make the same comments in the app reviews. Just wondering if it works ok for others and if so what model device you have. Otherwise take caution to update if anyone out there actually uses this app to read library books. |

The number of 1 star reviews is growing. Seems to be a global issue that the text is unreadable. There is also an issue that it doesn't retain your settings when you open and close and remember bookmarks.
In summary this update breaks many things. What's the point of a reading app that can't display text legibly! I do not advise updating. |

Have you heard of Overdrive? 3M Cloud Library is a competitor. You need the 3M Cloud Library app to read ebooks that you have checked out from your local library if they get their books from 3M. That's why it's so ridiculous that they released an update with text resolution that you can't read.
Luckily you can use their desktop software to download Adobe-protected EPUB files and transfer to other compatible devices (such as my Sony Reader or Nook) so there are alternatives. Number of 1 star reviews keeps growing. Hope they fix it soon! |

A new version was released today that fixes the previous problems. That last version was a major fail! At least the text is back to normal and books are readable again.
