How change "Read" to "UnRead" on a SubForum?
Hi. Anyone know how to mark a Forum or SubForum as "UnRead" after having previously marked it "Read"? If it's obvious in the Forum menus or Control Panel, sorry I missed it. A long time ago I marked Calibre/Development as "Read", not realizing it would apply that status to all new posts there from that time on. Now I want to reset that status back to "Unread" for the entire Subforum Development, or if that's impossible, at least any new posts from this point on. Can anyone give me a hint how to do that?

When you mark a forum as "Read" it only marks those posts before you marked "Read". New posts will show as "unread".
Do you mean you wish to "subscribe" to that forum again? You can click on "Forum Tools" (in the blue bar above the threads) Then click on "Subscribe to This Forum" (in the dropdown menu). <--- click to enlarge They will now show in your User CP under Subscribed Threads when any new posts are made in that forum. |

oh….
I'd tried that earlier today, but just noticed there were no new posts in that subforum for the past 2 or 3 days. Thanks. Last edited by unboggling; 05-20-2012 at 02:48 AM. |

Was this what you were asking? I wasn't sure and thought it was the subscribe option that you meant.
