Interesting.....I sent two apps to my Phone from the website. I went to turn on the wifi....they were already being installed, with wifi off!

ETA never mind. Wifi must have been on.

That is perfectly normal behavior for almost any Kindle device you purchase from Amazon. If you don't select "gift" it is registered to your account, and you can start sending content to it almost immediately. But it doesn't usually show up ON the device until you receive it and set it up. It's just help in queue.

I decided to go ahead and order one of these (in gray) even though I already have a different case. I don't really need to clip this phone to my waist, which is why I bought the first case, for the holster. I figured I'd better get the Revolution case before the prices go up (if they do). It'll be top quality protection in my bag.

Since this case is the same one I got for my HD6, I feared I might have the same problem (the charging port cover not returning to a flush position). After charging the phone, the port cover does return to a flush position; so I'm quite pleased.

Meanwhile, the port cover on the HD6 still sticks out. It slowly gets close to being flush, but never gets there. Because it sticks out a bit, it has snagged on things a few times. I may end up cutting it off. That said, I still like the case.
