Metadata to Reader
When I have converted some books to LRF format I've checked off "insert metadata at start of book." I love this feature because sometimes I like to add some comments of my own to the metadata - date downloaded, who recommended, if it was a freebie etc. Then the comments are right with me on the reader.
It seems the only way I can do this is by converting from one format to another. Some LRFs I've actualy run through the converter to another LRF, which seems silly. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and I get a message that says "no suitable source format." Is there any simpler way in Calibre do this with my LRF books? |

Okay.
This may be a little crazy, but what would happen if I convert LRF to something else and then back again? Would that cause a problem? |
