Converting StarDict (and other) dictionaries to iPad (to use with iBooks)
It seems it's possible to convert StarDict and Lingvo dictionaries to the iPad format.
http://translate.google.com/translat...92918/&prev=_t (Russian - English translation by Google) Instead of editing iPad's plist file you can use DicSelector to switch dictionaries: http://netherlandsdaniel.blogspot.co...naries-in.html How about StarDict dictionaries? The procedure seems to be the same as on Macs: use DictUnifier http://davidtse916.wordpress.com/200...on-in-leopard/ Thing is how do I convert a StarDict dictionary if I don't have a Mac? Could someone make a script/program that would run on Windows? Please! Note: jailbreak is required. Edit: the dictionaries can be used with iBooks. Edit 2: There's some kind of a StarDict-Mac-Dictionary converter written in Python: http://code.google.com/p/mac-dictionary-kit/ No idea how to use it though.
