Can't connect to Calbre server on my local Lan.
I can connect to it using local host, but not from other computers or phones on my local LAN, both wireless and wired.
err: this page isn't working right now sent an invalid response It's not working if I use the full IP address on the host computer (http://192.168.1.135:8080/#library_i...anel=book_list) Working fine if I use: http://[::1]:8080/#library_id=Library&panel=book_list My Ubiquiti router has all local Lan ports open to all local traffic. My Windows Firewall has Calibre added as a trusted app. Turned the firewall off, still not working with the full IP address. Not sure what I'm missing. |

Interesting that it works with a IP V6 loopback address. Have you tried 127.0.0.1 the IP V4 loopback address? Are you sure that 192.168.1.135 is the address for your LAN port? What does ipconfig /all show?

Make sure that you have "AP Isolation" disabled or turned off in your router. I believe that Ubiquiti calls it Network Isolation and Client Device Isolation.
If you have AP isolation turned on/enabled it will prevent devixces on the network from talking to each other. bernie Quote:

doesn't work with 127.0.0.1
ipconfig /all confirms 192.168.1.135
I can connect to other computers on the Lan just fine through file manager. doesn't work with 127.0.0.1 in my browser Last edited by rickhan; 03-13-2025 at 12:43 PM. |

I had noticed an issue with connections but that was due to the web browser insisting on using https so I had to use http://127.0.0.1:9091 to connect.

ipv4 doesn't work from other systems

Only the ipv6 loopback works--which is what you get if you choose browse the server from the Calibre menu. Last edited by rickhan; 03-13-2025 at 09:15 PM. |

Something on this machine is preventing the Calibre web server from using ipv4 or ipv6 addresses(only ipv6 loopback works, but not full address) Ping, net view, and explorer work just fine. Just the Calibre web server can only be accessed by the ipv6 loopback. Last edited by rickhan; 03-13-2025 at 09:30 PM. |

A value of blank means either use :: if the kernel has dualstack IP support or 0.0.0.0 otherwise.
