eReader.com reverts back to high prices
Hi All,
I just went to buy several books from eReader.com, it seems their prices have reverted back to being expensive as usual. As a result result is I chose not to buy the books. The reason is while I wasn't to crazy about the eReader format the prices where great and I'd be willing to deal with the inferior format. However with the higher price and the inferior format it just doesn't make sense to buy from eReader.com. I'll go back to buying MOBI or ePUB especially since MOBI/Kindle support all the platforms eReader does and more. =X= |

Check B&N. I noticed they had lower (9.99) prices on some books I looked at. I've also noticed some books at B&N, but not on the eReader site.

Barnes&Noble is another source for cheap eReader ebooks. For format shifters, this is the site that is most likely to compete on price in the long run with the Kindle store and the Sony store (when it switches to ePub). I agree, though, that eReader is the worst of the popular formats for format shifting.

I'm wondering if we'll see eReader.com turn into something like Mobipocket.com. Full list price for everything. Most retailers don't like being undercut by their distributor (assuming eReader distros like Mobi).
