Development Custom ROM

I am going to try to port a Honeycomb ROM to the Pocket Edge. Assuming my theory is correct, and the Updater doesn't check to see if it is a official ROM, something like http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1335575 should run once given the programs used by 2.2.

are you aware of the ubifs. updater can be disable, i deleted from the rom with titanium backup. what about the eink, how you are going to integrate?
ideally will be to have a repartitioning first with a allmine fail safe recovery and nand scrubbing repair option as a base, and than on this structure anything can be build?
