We finished Sweetpea over the weekend. My sister liked it, I felt indifferent about the series. I just didn't like the main character.
We're now watching History Channel's Royal Kill List and later this week we'll have a movie night and watch Deadpool & Wolverine. |

I've started on Man on the Inside from Netflix. I think I'm going to enjoy this one.

We're currently watching La Brea. It isn't very good, but it's one of those series that's entertaining and nice to put on when your brain is tired.

Watched a YouTube video about a young woman who died a horrible death because of the actions of her family during a plane trip. She's reborn and wakes up in her own body shortly before the fatal plane with all of the memories of what happened in her previous life. She takes actions to make sure that she's not on the plane. Due to that while she is relaxing at home, her family suffers the fate that originally happened to her.

This week I watched the 1951 Scrooge (Alastair Sim) on youtube, Maria on Netflix (about Maria Callas) and the documentary Stevie Van Zandt Disciple on Max.
I've been watching this version of Scrooge (A Christmas Carol) since the 1950s when it ran frequently on television. I am not a fan of Maria Callas but the movie held my interest. I realize she is legend. |

I think I've discovered my new Xmas holiday annual viewing selection - Black Doves - an off the wall, stylish, extremely well scripted/plotted, funny holiday spy caper. There is so much detail going on, it merits a re-watch (or two) just to catch everything. My favorite characters are Williams and Eleanor - sort of a psychopathic Greek chorus commentating on all the ongoing action.
I read that Netflix has already green lit season 2! |

I watched Wah Wah (2005) tonight. It's about Richard E. Grant's childhood from age 11-14 in Swaziland (now Eswatini). Directed by Grant, with actors Gabriel Byrne, Miranda Richardson, Emily Watson, Celia Imrie, Julia Walters.
I'd never heard of this before, but I saw a youtube video from House & Garden where Grant shows his home (near London? I couldn't catch the name of the town). Looked up his movies and ran across this one on Tubi. Free with commercials. |

Do I want to see Reggie Owens? George C. Scott? Mr. Magoo? (Yes, really). Guy Pearce? Patrick Stewart (not my inclination but...). Votes, folks? (I don't know how to make polls and all that but your input is most welcome.) My inclination is to do Reggie (out of tradition, of course) and then a second one. Thoughts? Oh, and hell, Happy Holidays, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa, and Merry Christmas, If I missed anything, please take it as said. Hitch |
