just a couple noob questions
Using calibre's internal ebook view, is it possible to add personal notes to a selection like some other ereaders can?
Also, in the latest update I seen something mentioned in the "whats new" about an animated page turn but it looks no different than before. how do I turn this on? Thanks |

yes I saw the page flip duration thing, but I had the impression this latest update had one of those cool page turn animations.
No annotations, thats a bummer hope the devs will add that someday Thanks |

page turn animation
Yes, now we have a page flip animation (the page slowly slides out in the left hand side of the window.) But I guess, the original question was to have a page turn animation like this:
or this: Of course double page is much more fancy, but it is not important, to make animation filled with the next page's characters. A simple white page can do... |

Why waste battery power (life)? All that unnecessary (the content is necessary ) animation takes lots of processor power that eats run time.

Wow! You must be living green if the PC you run calibre's viewer on is running off a battery. It must be nice living off of the grid.

Is there any chance?
User experience.
Python is not my world. Does that mean that a good feature is lost, or can it become a feature request ticket for the developer community? |

I do not keep tickets open that no one has shown any interest in implementing, they just become zombie tickets. So unless you want to implement it yourself or concinve someone else to do the same, don't bother opening a ticket.
