Plastic logic content partners

Check this out -
one of the partners is ZINIO - that will be big if you can get any magazine with all the images on a portable device

You can also find their two press releases in their entirety, and an email Q&A that David Rothman conducted with them, over on TeleRead.

Lots of interesting stuff, including the fact that a couple of their other partners will be Ingram…and Fictionwise. Which means you can bet eReader format is going to be an option, as is ePub…

Great News! Zinio, Fictionwise, and Financial Times.... Not to mention the open platform for small publishers. IMHO this will be the tipping point.

Goes to show that the big players know that the PLreader holds promise.

Lert's not forget, that Zinio and Ingram Digital started toying with digital textbooks, I think we will see their selection expanding soon.

Another interesting bit:

Plastic Logic is also announcing today it is licensing Adobe technology to provide PDF, EPUB and Adobe DRM/eBook support on the device.

The impact of Fictionwise developing the econtent store for Plastic Logic takes on new meaning with the BN acquisition.

To no ones surprise, Steven Pendergrast just confirmed eReader support for Plastic Logic - see the thread E-books poised for 'huge surge' in 2010, says Fictionwise exec.

Zinio? That will be huge for me. I read a lot of magazines on my TabletPC. If it works as well as it does on a PC others will jump on the bandwagon.
