I do wish that people advertising books on the forum would state upfront geographical restrictions.
The ebook is restricted to the minority of the world that live in the USA. |

My apologies - we (in the USA) are still adjusting to encountering these restrictions on the Amazon website. Thanks for the reminder!

It's also available at Sony and B&N (geo restricted I'm sure)...
http://ebookstore.sony.com/ebook/rob...00000000181273 http://search.barnesandnoble.com/The...9959810/?itm=2 $15 list price for a book that's been available in Mass Market PB for years pretty much sucks though. |

It is out also in the UK put out by the UK publisher. WH Smith has it...

Sony's selling it for $10.50.
Personally, I'm furious. There is no reason that a book which earned out its advance almost 20 years ago should be listing at nearly double the price of the paperback for the electronic version. I can understand (though not agree with) that sort of price point for a first run hardcover, but for this? It's pure price gouging. |

Be forwarned: this is a never-ending series. I started reading it when it came out in paperback years and years ago. I think he just released Book 12. The book itself is not bad, but it is nice to have closure.

Robert Jordan died in September 2007, so his estate and publishers hired Brandon Sanderson to write part 12 to conclude series. It turned out, however, that The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills, and even the mighty Publishers are only the thread of the Pattern and it will take a few more spins of The Wheel Of Time until the series is finished. At the moment that part 12 already has three parts. Please remember, that when the grand master writer Jordan started to write series he was planning some three books. By writing the book one he apparently unleashed some forces that can not be stopped by mere mortals, or even Publishers. If you want to see how the series end, read following spoiler I have copied in its entirety from Slashdot comment ;-) Spoiler:
If you want to refresh your memory and you want to finish the series without rereading many thousand pages you have already read there is a reread project at Tor. See https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...401#post572401 Give it a try, it is absolutely Awesome (literally Awesome ;-) ) |

It seems more like they don't believe there is an ebook market and in order to prove themselves correct they go out of their way to sabotage their own ebooks releases as seen by the pricing and release schedule of this series.
