True, the Adobe Reader for Palm OS and Windows Mobile is still painfully inadequate. I've found converting PDFs to RepliGo format (http://www.cerience.com/products/repligo.htm) works much better. The RepliGo reader is nice and fast (on my Tungsten T3 anyway), and it has features like bookmarks and notes that PDFs support, but Adobe Reader for Palm OS is missing. On the downside, RepliGo is non-free and you have to deal with Yet Another Reader and Yet Another Proprietary Doc Format on your mobile device. But, if you have to carry PDFs around, RepliGo is a much better solution than Adobe Reader.
