Kobo Aura HD won't sideload
When I connect the USB, the battery starts to charge, but I get no "connect to PC" message box. I tried restarting, syncing and using different PCs. No dice. I guess I could still add books using Micro SD cards. Still, does anyone know what could be the problem?

I tried changing the cable, not really expecting results ... but it actually worked! I must admit that I actually wouldn't have thought of that myself. Thanks man!

See if the original cable actually connects for data on anything else. If not, and especially if it was cheap, it may well be a charge only cable. As the name would suggest these types of cables let you charge your device but don't allow data transfer.
