Screen Contrast - Nook vs K3?

I was under the impression that the Nook already has good contrast compared to other readers.

Looking at online pictures of the Nook vs the K3 doesn't really give me a good idea of the contrast difference between the Nook and the K3.

For people that have used both, what are your opinions?

I guess you saw the pictures I posted? It's fairly plain to see that in real world conditions, most people wouldn't notice the contrast difference between the two and I don't think that alone should be the decider. The font differences and sizes are more marked and will make more of a difference when using them; I think I prefer the Kindle's font and the sizes it has to offer but the Nook font is really nice too but I find the Nook medium a little too big and the small a little too small. The kindle size 3 fits right in between.

Of course, in terms of almost everything else, design, usability, look and feel and ergonomics, the Kindle wins hands down. IMO

Oh, and I think the contrast difference has been measured as double by kindle Blog. But be aware that we don't necessarily perceive contrast in a linear fashion, so double the measurable contrast won't seem like 2x as dark/light to our eyes.
