Or you could try readable toilet paper, with each family member bringing their own. One perk: No more worries about losing your place.

You're making me reconsider having my Loeb Library Classics reformatted as TP. The endnotes are a problem.

I don't think I could EVER do that ... I would seriously want to disinfect that thing and well that wouldn't go over well.
I don't know many people that have reading material ... isn't that kind of awkward to go to someone else's house and camp out on the toilet? lol |

There are times when it is nice to have some reading material in the bathroom. Sometimes it takes a while, and get gets dull. While I sometimes bring my e-reader in to the bathroom, I wouldn't choose to have an e-reader dedicated to the bathroom. But don't let me stop you.
I think paper is a good fit for something you keep in there. A magazine is a good choice. I like the "Uncle John's Bathroom Reader" series, which have a lot of very short articles. I also have a lot old collections of science fiction short stories, one of those works nicely. Sometimes I'll read in the bathroom because I wake up in the middle of the night. I don't want to go downstairs, because if I do that, I'll never get back to bed, and I don't want to turn the light on in the bedroom. If you do want to have a dedicated e-reader in the bathroom, load it up with a lot of short stories. |

I put ever more accessible books in the bathroom in the hope my kids might start reading them. I know I'm fighting a losing battle though. |
