Bookmarking?
How many bookmarks can you add to a given book on the Sony 505?

Hi, I'm sure other people will know more than me about this, but I've got over 30 in my current book with no problems, and in total nearly 40 book marks.
I've never found a limit so far, and I like to bookmark things (in this case all the pages that have errors that need correcting). |

There are no practical limits Storage space must impose a theoretical limit, but I've never heard of anyone reaching it.

Just had a look in the manual, and it doesn't mention a limit.

You'd probably have to bookmark every page

Also, brilliant thing with the bookmarks - in the menu you can see all of your bookmarks. Love that feature.

You can also see all of your bookmarks by holding down the bookmark key for 10 seconds or so.

I've never reached a limit, but I figure if it can hold all those pages in "memory" plus bookmarks, you must have a good supply of them. Once I finally realized it automatically returns to whatever page you were on when you shut the book down, I rarely find myself using bookmarks anymore.

I don't normally use bookmarks either since it automatically goes to the last page you read when you turn on the 505. Or I go to the menu for that book and select continue reading and it picks up where you left off.
Something else that the Sony has is History, it keeps a list of all the previous pages you were on, the last 100 pages. |
