In the dim distant past, there was an issue with the version of RMSDK used by Kobo not being able to modify font sizes. The quick and dirty fix for it was a tool called KoboEpubFixer which I seem to remember you complaining about since it was capable of removing the stylesheet(s) from the epub. The results weren't very pretty but at least you could read the blasted text.

Since the first or second 4 version of the Kobo firmware, there are no more curly braces - { } - on the keyboard.
With the Aura One I can select these curly braces by a longer tip on the round or square braces. However, this is not possible with H2O and Glo HD. Both readers have the new keyboard layout. I need these curly braces for our wifi key. It would be nice, if the selection possibility, which offers the Aura One, in a coming firmware with the other models is possible. Aura One Blue Light
Someone started a separate thread below, but it's worth a mention here. After one of the multiple firmware revisions over the past month or so, the red charging light on the Aura One no longer changes to blue once your unit is fully charged. It just sits there, plugged in, and stays red.

Left right arrows for chapter forward/backward don't work and jump to the first one in the xhtml file. Also the wrong chapter is displayed and the checkmark in the overview is on the wrong chapter. Chapters are generated in Sigil and FlightCrew finds no errors.

I think it is a known limitation that Kobo requires each chapter is in a separate file.
You should be able to easily split the text into multiple files using Sigil. |

1. Why are there {braces} around the UID? Are they present in the OPF's identifier value? 2. Unless there's nesting in the TOC, which your sample does not indicate, the depth should be 1, not 2. (Yes, I know Calibre assigns a value of 2 to a flat TOC. Calibre's wrong; the EPUB spec is quite clear on that front.) Splitting chapters into different files is also good practice, but it shouldn't be mandatory. |

There is a problem with navigation in epubs with multiple chapters per file. The ToC will show the first entry in the file as the current chapter. Selecting one of the others will go to the correct place. And using the next and previous chapter doesn't work properly. Next will go to the first chapter in the next file. Previous will go to the first chapter in the current file. I can't remember when this bug turned up. I'm pretty sure it was before 3.19. |

Since the moment of the purchase Aura One has found the following bug on all the firmware. In the epub books, the indents on the right are larger than the indents on the left.
In fb2 books, indents are the same. I checked a lot of files. The bug is repeated 100% on all epub books. epub Spoiler:

For the FB2 format, I can't comment. I don't think I've ever seen one. I can try converting to one in calibre when I get home. If that is what you are doing, or converting from FB2 to epub, you might want to check the conversion options in case they are setting the margins. |

Now I reset Kobo Aura One to factory settings. After updated to 4.3.8966. I downloaded epub books, made the "Margins" setting minimal. I see... Spoiler:
The problem becomes noticeable when the "Margins" setting is minimal or close to the minimum. |

Do you know which settings your book have? Because perhaps the problem is not the reader but the book.

How does the book look if you view it in ADE and Calibre's eBook viewer?
