LOL! I simply LOVE the reviews on that book! I haven't had a good laugh in a while and here I am, giggling away in the dead of night

Children, you should realize that research materials/supplies are often expensive but are bought by grants. Scientists already make virtually no money publishing research, and in a very small field, a book such as this would sell very few copies. Look at related purchases and you can see similarly priced books. It is likely that large quantities of hardbound copies were purchased for labs/libraries.
Just because some idiots write fake reviews you get all excited over nothing. I doubt that profits from all of these 3000$-6000$ research tomes would constitute that gained by a single twilight novel, sad where our priorities lie. |

Well, to make a book or an ebook you must do some research, right? So, knowledge on paper is valuable, in ebook is not?
Regards, Daddy's friend (I hate when reviews like those get so many views as much as I hate when Paris Hilton gets more clicks than discussion about future of our children.) |

I'm afraid that I honestly don't see the slightest humour in it. Seems to be a bunch of silly people writing fake reviews for a book that they almost certainly have not read. That doesn't help anybody.

Tststs, how dare they! Now there is some poor atomic engergie specialist bound to head for North Corea to build there next bomb without a fitting read for his supersonic flight down there. All because these silly people weren't helpful... It is a shame Let us cross our fingers and hope that those who need this book for their work will have a look at the HC, buy it and never see those silly comments on the ebook side. |

Well, it's not on Amazon, but here is an ebook for $12,499,498.75. The paperback version is more expensive at $12,500,005.75.

When I was in the University like 1994 there was a similar one there. It was a pbook / handbook, and the librarian was also scare every-time that we request the book, lol ...
By the way, it was a Material Engineering's book too... |
