Cybook not detected and can't fetch feeds
Hallo,
Calibre do detect my Cybook at home, but not on my office computer. At office I can't fetch feeds either, I get this error: Code:
httperror_seek_wrapper: HTTP Error 407: Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied. ) thanks |

calibre doesn't support authenticated proxies, but you can try setting the http_proxy environment variable with proxy information.
As for device detection, your office PC probably is locked down and that is preventing calibre from working correctly. Post the output of calibre-debug -d with the cybook connected |

Looks like your machine is locked down preventing the use of WMI (which is what calibre uses to query the system for connected devices). Not much I can do about that, sorry.

1. Double-click on Control Panel.
2. Double-click Administrative Tools. 3. Double-click on Computer Management. 4. Click on Services and Applications. 5. Right-click on WMI Control and select Properties. 6. Click on the Security tab. 7. Click on Root. 8. Click the Security button. 9. Somewhere on this screen is the problem, I think. Right now I've got Administrators, Everyone, LOCAL SERVICE, and NETWORK SERVICE all list, and all with Allow permissions. Not sure which you need to add to get Calibre to work for your account. |

It works now :-)
I had errors in the Properties tab on WMI Control; service wmiapsrv was stopped so I just had to start it :-) thanks to everyone |
