Ordering the iLiad in the USA??

I´ve checked out if you press the USA Onlineshop on the iRexTechnologies.com website the iliad is a lot of cheaper (without delivery costs around 516.538 EUR ).

What are the disadvantages of ordering in the USA?

I'll give you the simply version...

If you buy something from the US, you'll have to pay 19% import VAT and perhaps even some toll fee.
The 19% import-VAT is calculated as the (price of the product + shipping) x 0.19...
Calculate that and you'll know whether it's worthwhile...

I'm pretty sure we don't pay that 19% VAT, there may be some import duties, but not the VAT.

Maybe one of the U.S. iLiadittes will comment on what they actually got tagged for?

When I was shopping for mine (not long ago) it pretty much came out to the same price whether you ordered it directly from iRex or the US reseller once you factored in shipping/tax, etc.
