The compilation process was not straightforward though, so if you are not familiar with the build process and don't need to access MangaDex it would be easier to rollback to v2.16.0 (or if you do want to read manga from MangaDex, you can add them to your favorites using v2.16.0, then upgrade to v2.17.2 (your favorites list won't be affected by the update))

I also have a problem with the keyboard not showing up on Clara 2E. Apart that everything works on the latest version.

I have tried to downgrade it to 2.16 as suggested above, but it crashes right after opening.

I have read elsewhere about adding line:

QT_QPA_PLATFORM=kobo:logicaldpitarget=108:experime ntaltouchhandler

in the ultimatemangareader.sh file, but it also didn't help.

I was also expierencing the keyboard issues with 2.17.2. I found a comment on the github where someoene built a version with the latest comits and it fixed it. https://github.com/Rain92/UltimateMa...ent-1536670156

also, would you be able to teach me how to tinker with the current UMR? I might be able to help fix it for our device..

Now the keyboards shows up and "works", but it puts many letters with each press.

I've found someone on GitHub with same issue, but no fix https://github.com/Rain92/UltimateMangaReader/issues/53
