Calibre not opening

Hi,

I keep getting an error Python function terminated unexpectedly (5, 'CreateFile', Access is denied.') (Error code:1).

I have tried to follow the forum for fixes, I have uninstalled, reboot, reinstalled, tried running as Administrator, I have debug, I even ran an older version of Calibre to see if i can get through.

It was running fine before and one day it stopped working. I am using Windows 7.

See below the info when I ran the debug. Can you please help?

I'm guessing your Anti Virus updated . Try the disableing it first (and if that works, learn how to assign an (calibre) exclusion for your brand)
