The Little Kiosk by the Sea by British author Jennifer Bohnet is her standalone contemporary literary/women's fiction novel with f/m romantic comedy elements, starring three women with differing goals in life who uncover scandalous mystery, hidden secrets, and romance over the course of an unforgettable summer in Dartmouth in Devon, free courtesy of publisher Harlequin UK's Carina UK imprint, which is weirdly and inexplicably disjunct from the mothership's Carina Press imprint.

Pretty much by default, but it gets bonus points by having some sort of mystery/intrigue subplot and having a saving a local business theme and the customer reviews say it's pretty charming with the descriptions of Dartmouth and all, which is nice to hear about these sorts of sleepy picturesque locale sorts of slice-of-life stories which kind of live or die by that, unless they can dig up some really juicy scandals and shenanigans to put their characters through instead.
