K2 myts-8 (One more terminal emulator for kindle.) keymapping for the Kindle 2

So I want to use the terminal emulator from here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=154500

But it seems like the keymapping/key definitions are for the Kindle 3 keyboard layout. I can't figure out how to get the key combinations to work properly on my Kindle 2.

The terminal itself seems to work well, except when you need to use symbols or special keys.

So I'm wondering if someone else has figured out how to get this to work properly on a Kindle 2. I'm pretty sure you just need to modify the keydefs.ini and/or myts.ini but I don't really understand all the key codes and stuff.

I didn't find anything about this on that main thread, but I might've missed something.
