Amazon free ebooks -question
I often notice in this forum that people announce free ebooks on amazon. I appreciate it very much, but I ask myself how do they find them out ? the search facility in the amazon site seems to me to be pretty basic.

You can see the Top 100 Free (and Paid) here, you can subscribe to the Top 10 as RSS Feed as well.
It's funny though, that Amazon's link to this list, as well as NYTimes Beststellers, Editor's Picks etc. are only visible (within the left navigation bar in the kindle store) if you set your region to "United States", "Europe" doesn't work. BTW, there are also links to "language lists" Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese |

[QUOTE=Susan Crealock;1014159]Take a look at: Inkmesh. Inkmesh also lists free books on other sites.
[Promotional link deleted - MODERATOR] Thanks to both, the help was very good. I was really stuck, I could not really understand. Last edited by Dr. Drib; 08-06-2017 at 12:02 PM. |

You can also list books on Amazon in a given area from Low to high pricing. (Use the combo box over on the upper right corner). This will give you the freebies and very cheap ones you might be interested in.

Also, a lot of the people announcing free ebooks are the authors of said ebooks. After all, a promotion isn't much good if people don't know about it!

If you search low to high and put -domain in the search bar, you will eliminate all the public domain books.

And don't forget www.kindleiq.com for advanced searching...
Sorting by price however does result in some strange ranking behaviour: according to amazon, USD 4.03 is cheaper than USD 1.99 or USD 6.05 beats USD 4.00. See this search for example. |
