How are tags selected between multiple metadata sources?

Title.

I've been adding more metadata sources, including the Goodreads More Tags plugins and I'd like the ability to configure which tags get chosen. But I can't seem to figure out how they're selected between competing sources.

I can see the log and see which source it's taking the tags from, but I can't find any logic behind it. I might prefer a "Merge tags from all metadata sources" option. Is that possible?

Note: I have unchecked "Prefer fewer tags"

Disable the tags on the sources you dont want tags from.

I never said I want tags only from one source. Indeed, I said

No there is no such option as a glance at the metadata preferences screen will tell you. You can either get the tags from the source with the largest or least number fo tags.
